Institutional Biosafety Committee
This committee oversees the safety of experiments involving the use of recombinant DNA at OSU under NIH guidelines. All use of recombinant DNA at OSU must be reviewed by the IBC, even use that is exempt according to the NIH Guidelines. In addition, use of pathogens is also monitored by this committee.
